long distant echo

schumann resonance - long distance echo

long distance echo – in praise of her

Lilac petals when hazel settles

Colorless pearls on sorrowful hurls

And all her movements fall in love plain

Like memories of fingers on strings strained

From her elbow crystals slowly trip

Stories from a glacier melt and drip

An old and beautiful autumn song

Like a memory of where she belonged

She crumbled and fought filled with tears

With the cruelest of her nightmares

And her hand still soft, still in pain

As I told of her beauty again and again
