River

Oh river, today, why are you so quiet?
No sound, no movement, in this starry night.
Your thoughts, your feelings – who can ever find?
Are you, oh river, imitating my state of mind?

A Glitter in the eye

The glass in the picture,
Of the windows passing by.
And it does not glitter,
In my eye.

The words from the letter,
That was being now kept aside.
Just crackle’s and clutter’s
Worth came to the mind.

The corners of the curtains,
That fade with the light,
The sparkle still pertains,
But bade in the fight.

And it does not glitter,
In my sight.
Sun, from the night.

Wild-flower

Wild-flower in starlit heaven
Unaccepted dullness shine
Wild-flower that perished in all of seven
oh beauty this wild-flower of thine

Often thou picked thy comb
Straightened, untangled these thoughts
We witnessed the echoes from thy dome
Listened to battles that thou fought

And then thy glory they praised
Drunken with radiance, hands were raised
As the conversations were evenly grazed
The wild-flower only beset to be fine

I could not do any less but hate
They ailments we could not quarantine
All nightmares stranded at thy gate
And rays that left thou tattered with time

her Nightmares

tired and victorious
when they’d all be sleeping,
under the sheets over sad rugs
he’d still be weeping

hoping the dawn will come
sooner than those dreams
before the veins burst and thoughts are numb
before she wakes up and screams

Me and You

If ever a word on such day
You wish I heard as you’d say
If ever some dream from your sky
You wish had fallen within my eye
I’ve wished the beauty I stand and stare
To fall on us in equal share

If in my words ever you found
Somewhere hidden a healing sound
If ever the things that have you tied
Were spoken without you having tried
You’ve heard all stories of my dark and blue
And known it all without a clue

Memories deceive

somewhere in the dark you see
lives that seldom memory
silent toes its steps arrive
and lays its arms all over me

countless times I’ve felt deceive
as the thought would fail to cease
of its words that bring respite
and hold my hand in silent grieves

yet somewhere in the past it leaves
a heart full of love that seems to please
even in nights of fear and fright
and weaves its form in memories

A Present

I get this thought, no less than seldom
that sooner that later, that day would come
like many a years in the past
lives the memory of a present last

wrapped in silk and perfumes
sprinkled with dust from magic dunes
wash those tears into a box
all cobwebs hidden behind locks

and nightmares all, just send across
along with memories of pain and loss
because what more could a present be
than your sweet, gladness and glee

This rain is for you

There must be some news that spread
hearing, the distant winds fled
and arrived with clouds and cold
following your distressed words said

cleaned up the air, each tree
washed all the paths that might be
walked along your thoughts of gold
lost in some beautiful memory

carefree, please let this breeze
run merrily, around your knees
and think of some memory you hold
to help all this pain cease

because, these clouds, you must know
shed all their wealth and go
so some moments of pleasure, like once told
build from this moment, for tomorrow let grow

Memories

Please look down
but not too surprisingly
small moments will surely drown
stepped over, into anonymity

Like the finest curve on its bend
a rushing river will leave behind
on tiring days a hand lent
sorrows,patient and kind.

Water fall

Dear oh waterfall
Why the summers sadden you
Often the grief will fall
But never alone are you

Your heart is broken
Nightmares make you cry
Your dreams shall soon be awaken
By some cloud waiting in the sky

The dimming splashes of your thoughts
Will soon be rising
Ending the season of draughts
Rain draped in silver is almost arriving

The dying leaves finally gain
Comfort in the winds that came
Quenched oh waterfall all your thirst
The tiny droplets of silver rain

But worry not careless you drain
Even though summers remind you of pain
In absence of clouds before it hurts
My words will come down as drizzle again.
